

The Altar of Flame takes place on Mercury and can be found in both the Competitive and Quick Play playlists. This map can only be found in the Quick Play playlist.

Although most of the fighting will take place in the buildings of Legion's Gulch, there is a man-cannon system that can shoot you quickly from one half of the map to the other. There is a large bridge in the middle of the map that connects the two-halves of Legion's Gulch. Legion's Gulch is located in the European Dead Zone so you can expect a lot of broken-down buildings to fight in. The Fortress can be played in both the Competitive and Quick play playlists. This map will be mostly close quarter engagements in the cave systems and medium range fights near the outskirts of the cave system.

The Dead Cliffs can be played in both the Competitive and Quick play playlists. The Dead Cliffs are located in the European Dead Zone and will be mostly centered around close quarter engagements. Use a shotgun to quickly mop these players up. Going through the middle of the map can allow you to get behind enemy players before they realize what is going on. Use a Shotgun for Power Weapon: Javelin-4 is all about close quarter engagements if you play it correctly.You might even be able to spawn-kill an enemy as you are rotating to their zone! This will allow you to prevent them from having two zones for a long period of time. If a team overwhelms and pushes you out of a zone, just rotate away to the other outside zone. Constantly Rotate From A to C: Because of the smaller size of Javelin-4, it is very easy to capture and lose the outside zones (Zone A or Zone B).Controlling the middle will allow your team to get to zones faster than your opponents and pull off great flanks if your enemies are stuck in the outer rings.

Going through the middle ring is the fastest and most efficient way to get from zone to zone. Control the Middle: Javelin-4 is made up of a outer ring and middle ring.Players have no where to escape if they are caught in one of the hallways so a zoning grenade can make quick work of a Guardian. Use Zoning Grenades: Using grenades that can cut opponents off (i.e Lightning, Pulse, Voidwall, Tripmine, Swarm) are extremely effective in controlling the two hallways around Zone B.Being the first team to capture it will put your team at a huge advantage. The Zone B on Javelin-4 is very confined between two hallways so it is hard to breach. Capture Zone B Immediately: Controlling Zone B in a control game is always important but it is vital on Javelin-4.Here are some tips to succeed on Javelin-4. This map is played in both the Competitive and Quick Play playlist. The zones are placed in a triangle format and are relatively close together. Javelin-4 is a small map that is formed with an Outer Ring and Middle Ring.
